The Nottingham defense also played a big role by never letting Steinert score a single touchdown. The touchdowns were scored by Jed Carrette and Saemeni Faeflen with assists from Prince Oghogho, Joe Lemly, and Qymir McMillan. They gave it their all, ending the game with a score of 33-0, a major blowout. The Northstars were in the lead, but they didn’t slow down there. It truly was one nation united.Īt halftime the score was 26-0. The cheerleaders always kept the morale high and had the crowd on their feet cheering with them. The Northstar football players also had their amazing cheerleaders behind them. Multiple flags were called on the Northstars, but they didn’t let that stop them. The tensions were high on and off the field, mainly because Steinert is Nottingham’s biggest rival. This wasn’t a regular football game it was the battle for Klockner Road! Both teams were having a strong season up to that point, but only one would walk away as the clear winner after the game. On Saturday, September 24th, the Nottingham High School football team played Steinert High School for the Northstars Homecoming game.
